About this project
SAFETY SKI HELMET SIMULATION
Current development time of a safety helmet is about 12 months from the idea to the product. Because it needs multiple iteration to validate the design with the actual standards it takes a lot of energy and time.
Using Finite Element Analysis (numerical simulations) is a good opportunity to speed-up the design process by virtualy testing the capacity of a new design to fulfill the standard requirements. It is then still necessary to proceed to empirical validations of the design but less iterations are then necessary.
